Vitamin L

June 5, 2013

What is Vitamin L I hear you ask? Vitamin L stands for Vitamin Love. Most people now a days take their daily vitamins in pill form with their cup of coffee in the morning because the are advised to. But Vitamin L is all about having loving and fulfilling relationships in your life. The most important being the relationship you have with yourself.

A way of getting enough Vitamin L is to START LOVING YOURSELF. Stop criticising yourself. We all do it but this has a negative impact on us over time and wears away our self confidence. Stop being driven by that voice inside your head that says you can’t do something or that you aren’t good enough. Congratulate yourself over the achievements you make in your life.

Start eating healthily. The food we consume enters our blood and becomes our thoughts and feelings. So if we eat unhealthy processed food this has an impact on us mentally and physically.

Set a side some time to exercise. Exercise releases endorphins which are the feel good hormones. Exercise is also a great stress reliever. So instead of raiding the alcohol cabinet or eating another piece of cake to deal with your stressful day, put your trainers on and go workout. Wether it be going for a walk or heading to the gym. Just move, your body will thank you for it.

Other ways you can get more Vitamin L is by having strong and healthy relationships. Wether it be with friends, family, boyfriends or girlfriends. Human connection is what all human beings strive for and need to feel truly loved.

Love is food for the heart and soul. It nourishes our bodies, our minds, and spirits. Getting enough Vitamin L is one of the most important ways we can ‘feed’ ourselves. So look after yourself and make sure you get your daily dose of Vitamin L.

Do you get enough Vitamin L? How do you go about getting enough of this vital vitamin?

All my love,
