Many people who I speak to are on some sort of diet and trying to loose weight. There is so much information out there stating what foods to eat, what foods to cut out, what exercise to do. The list goes on and it all gets very confusing. It makes loosing weight feel like it is hugely out of reach. Instead of going on a crazy crash diet, we know these don’t work in the long run and with them comes psychological issues such as guilt and self hatred when you don’t stick to the very strict guidelines of the chosen crash diet, try a more balanced approach.
I thought I would share my 10 top tips to help you shift those unwanted pounds or even maintain the weight you are at. They are very simple so you won’t feel overloaded with information and you will notice a great increase in your overall health.
TIP 1: DRINK WATER

TIP 8: CATCH SOME ZZZs
Getting enough sleep is detrimental to your health. Sleep allows your body to rest, repair and restore. Lack of sleep decreases your metabolism and increases your appetite. Ever felt so exhausted that you wanted to eat everything in sight. This is why. Not great if you are trying to lose weight. Try and aim for 7/8 hours a night
TIP 9: LEARN TO COOK
When you learn to cook you are able to control portion size and quality of food. So you know exactly what you are putting in to your body. Plus it is a bonding experience if you do it with a loved one
